More About Macromove

Macromove started trading over forty years ago in the North East of England, trading as McCrorys Removals.

Founded by Patrick Mc Crory, the business was relocated to its Main Depot in Nottingham in 1985.

Patrick is still closely involved in the day to day running of the household removals and has never lost his enthusiasm for the job. Although the majority of Macromove's customers tend to stay within the area, often only moving around the corner, especially those living in West Bridgford, Mapperley, and Wollaton areas.

Patrick remarked that 'I think when customers move house locally, its often to gain an extra bedroom, or perhaps to gain the advantage of no stairs, by choosing a bungalow.

However, about one quarter of the families do move further afield. London and the South of the country especially, and this is usually for change of employment or to move nearer family.

We also have dedicated vehicles for regular removals between the UK and Ireland.

And, having an extensive depot on Colwick Industial Estate, we can also offer storage facilities.
